Understanding Multidimensionality: Becoming the Whole-Me

By Trish Briggs

When I first heard the concept of multidimensionality, it was difficult for my three-dimensional brain to comprehend. At that time, none of my esoteric reading had touched on it - though I had explored reincarnation, which seemed similar but carried a different spin. Years later, I realized that reincarnation was my first introduction to multidimensionality, just without the quantum energy lens.

Interestingly, Leila could grasp the concept of multidimensionality from birth. She was innately aware that she was a multidimensional being with many flowing parts. Before long, she was articulating what that meant - for me and for others. Even at a young age, she understood that a vital part of her own multidimensional self was missing and that she needed to reconnect with it to feel whole. That awareness became the starting point of her journey in her young adult years.

What Does It Mean to Be Multidimensional?

At first, the realization that we coexist with multiple aspects of ourselves—across multiple lives and multiple levels of consciousness was mind boggling. But as my understanding of subtle energy expanded, my brain was finally able to jump on the multidimensional train.

According to quantum physics, time is simply a construct that our brain uses to organize experience in the 3D world. Outside of that dimension, time doesn’t function in the same way. So what I used to think of as a “past life” might be happening simultaneously - or even ahead of - this one.

It doesn’t really matter where these lives fall on a timeline. What matters is that they are all part of my whole experience, my consciousness, and vital to shaping who I am, both physically and spiritually.

I like to think of each life or experience as a point on a timeline where a small part of my consciousness is actively engaged because it’s relevant to my growth and soul purpose.

The Opportunity of This Timeline

In this current timeline, we are blessed with the opportunity and access to gather close all the pieces, parts, lives, selves, aspects, and expressions of consciousness that belong to the now-self. This is how we become the whole-self - integrated and aware of all we have experienced, all we have learned, and all we have lived.

What an exciting prospect!

As we do this inner work, we gain clarity, compassion, and understanding. It also means accepting all parts of ourselves - both the “not-so-nice me-s” and the versions we’re proud of. Together, these aspects have always made up who I am today. In the past, they were scattered to the winds - unseen, unacknowledged. But now, we can choose to recognize them and welcome them home.

Healing Through Alignment

With this awareness, we can begin to align all these moving parts so they work together, support each other, and move in the same direction. We stop undermining ourselves. We stop fragmenting our energy. And instead, we begin to live as a fully integrated being - in harmony with our many dimensions.
